Aim:

To monitor and control the weather parameters

 

Working Principle:

To acquire different weather parameters such as Temperature, Light and Air Humidity and also to monitor this parameter on PC

Block diagram Explanation:

Here we are designing a System which will automatically detect any change in the weather with the help of various sensors such as Temperature, Light, Air humidity etc. . .. Also we are sending these parameters to PC for further observation and monitoring

  • Read the analog sensor data. Perform Signal conditioning on the signal. (If the signal is very low in µv).
  • Store the data in µC internal memory (RAM).
  • Display the parameters on LCD
  • Send the parameters to PC via Rs 232 baud rate 9600

  • Sensors :

Humidity : SY-HS 220 , Temperature: LM35

Light: LDR (Light dependent resistance)

  • LCD: 16*2 , 100 ma , Alphanumeric Display
  • Power Supply: 5V, 750 ma current.
  • Rs 232: 9600, 8bit, N, 1stop bit

 

Software Features:

µC programming: C

MPLAB IDE compiler, PIC Flash Programmer

PC: Hyper terminal Software.
