Aim:

To Design and build Pick and Place Robot

 

Working Principle:

To design and build a pick and place robot for the packaging industry which can be operated wireless by the user.

Block diagram Explanation:

Here we are designing a pick and place robot which will be used in the industry and hazardous areas. For this we are designing a DC motor based robotic model. For working in the packaging industry or in the hazardous areas such as underground coal or sulphur mines where the machine operator is at a conatant risk of an injury can operate the robot from a 100 meters distance. For this purpose we are interfacing a 433 MHz RF transmitter and receiver. The RF receiver is interfaced to the µC on board the robot. The RF transmitter is with the user / operator.

  • Is Rf pulse detected
  • If yes ,
  • Is the RF pulse=1 , Go forward
  • Is the RF pulse=2 , Go Reverse
  • Is the RF pulse=3 , Go Left
  • Is the RF pulse=4 , Go Right
  • Is the RF pulse=5 , Lift UP
  • Is the RF pulse=4 , bring Down
  • Loop

  • LCD: 16*2 , 100 ma , Alphanumeric Display
  • DC MOTOR: 12 V , 30 rpm, 10 rpm
  • DC Motor Driver: L293D
  • RF : 433 MHz
  • Power Supply: 5V, 750 ma current.
