Aim: To monitor and control the Green house parameters

 

Working Principle: To acquire different Green house parameters such as Temperature, Light and soil moisture so as to maintain a constant temperature and Moisture.

Block diagram Explanation:

Here we are designing a System which will automatically any change in the green house with the help of various sensors such as Temperature, Light , Soil moisture etc. . .. Also we are designing control section using 2 relays to keep the environmental climate constant.

  • Read the analog sensor data. Perform Signal conditioning on the signal. (If the signal is very low in µv).
  • Store the data in µC internal memory (RAM).
  • Display the parameters on LCD
  • Turn ON/OFF the relays according to the set point programmed in the µC program
  • For Temperature control turn On/off Heater with Relay.
  • For Soil moisture turn on/off the water valve with relay.
  • Display the light intensity on LCD

 

Hard ware Features:

  • µC : PIC 16F877A
  • Sensors :

Soil Moisture: Electrode with signal conditioning, Temperature: LM35

Light: LDR (Light dependent resistance)

  • LCD: 16*2 , 100 ma , Alphanumeric Display
  • Relay: 12v , 230v ,Single change over
  • Power Supply: 5V, 750 ma current.

 

Soft ware Features:

MPLAB IDE compiler, PIC Flash Programmer
